Day of Mourning

No doubt your heart was broken as you heard our Governor Northam discuss the birth of a full-term baby. The discussion was about making the baby comfortable until a decision could be made between the doctors and the mother as to whether to terminate the baby’s life. Governor Northam used the word “baby”.

In reality, what he was discussing in a cool, “reasoned” way was infanticide. It is evil. How have we come this far? Is the shock of this to make abortion at an earlier stage more palatable? It doesn’t.

As you know, we have gathered for prayer for the persecuted the last two years. It has been thrilling to see our community come together to pray. There is a national movement calling for a “Day of Mourning” on April 6th that we might pray and repent before God. We are, once again, asking folks to gather for prayer at the Augusta County Courthouse to pray at noon.
