As we ponder the coming New Year, I wonder what ways we can expand our view of God this year? What ways can each of us get involved in the work God wants to do through us as His body here in Waynesboro?

Perhaps each of us might begin to pray about ways God could personally renew us and our involvement in God’s world. God desires to care for us not just to provide for us but that we might be fruitful in seeing others come to love the Lord Jesus.

Perhaps, we might look for ways to understand that God is BIG enough to blow away our small views of what God may do through us. Perhaps we might look for ways to expand our view of God by getting involved in a new ministry this year; studying the Bible with new eyes; helping out as we continue our ministry with Kate Collins Middle School and reaching out to youth with the Gospel. Maybe God wants to start a revival with our young people. How will you help?

If we only have a mundane expectation of God, we are truly not ready for God to blow away our preconceived ideas about who He is.

A young boy went to the local store with his mother. The shop owner, a kindly man, passed him a large jar of suckers and invited him to help himself to a handful. Uncharacteristically, the boy held back. So, the shop owner pulled out a handful for him.

When outside, the boy's mother asked why he had suddenly been so shy and wouldn't take a handful of suckers when offered. He shared that the shop owner had much bigger hands!!

Our God is MUCH BIGGER than we can possibly imagine. May we trust Him as He empowers us through His Spirit to do something extraordinary for Him in 2019!!

Last month more than 20,000 non-Christians gathered for a Christmas celebration in Phu Tho Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City. ANM’s local ministry partners helped organize the event, and Vietnam’s communist government approved it! Can you believe that?

God’s kingdom is advancing in Vietnam, where only 2% of the population is part of a thriving local church.

Through your prayers and gifts, you are part of this historic movement in Vietnam, and for the next three days you have the opportunity to make double the impact in places like Vietnam, where the gospel is spreading faster than ever before.

Gifts for missionary support on the frontiers of God’s kingdom, made before midnight on December 31, will be matched.

Thank you for being part of this miraculous moment.
'Til all hear,
Your partners at ANM
